Abigail Reyes
Abby has been in journalism class since the school year began, working on getting information and interviewing people from different clubs and organizations whenever club meetings are assembled for certain articles she helps write. She is great with talking to people, making the job that she has enjoyable. Getting to talk to people makes it easier to process a good point of view for an article, stating people’s passion for why and what making them join a club is all about.
Having detailed information in her articles and others she works with is important to her. Every word has to come in big perspectives when it comes to her writing certain things — like poetry, books, newspapers, and simple novels — help her get a better idea of what reading something good feels like.
Writing being one of her stress relievers has helped her get better along the way. Writing every day and reading as many books as she can makes her want to continue this in the future, especially since she’s been writing since she was nine. Just describing the beauty of words on a page and picking up a pen or pencil is something she finds special about how much she can express herself. That’s why journalism caught her eye; it gives her more opportunities to write.
