Aiden Guerra, Reporter
Aiden Guerra joined the Madison Journalist/ Yearbook team his freshman year to be a journalist and has continued since then.
When not writing stories, Aiden’s time is taken up mostly by long, hot, and sweaty band days. However he loves the energy, and it brings him lots of amusement. He appreciates practicing on his drum, working on show music, and learning professional drum licks, as in DCI (Drum Corps International).
Being a journalist, his top priority is to always improve his craft. Aiden envies descriptive writing because of how vivid it can be going into it. He would say his writing revolves more around narrative and expository writing. A vital goal is to become a better writer each year to improve his vocabulary and sentence structures.
His freshman year he was given a photography award for winning in a photo contest. Guerra had some stellar awards in band including: making the varsity band his Junior year, getting a 1 (best score) on both of his solos, and playing a new instrument every year since he began.
When he’s not in school, His hobbies include working out, swimming in his pool and playing with his dog. By far his favorite thing ever is ordering take-out, jumping in his pajamas and watching movies all day long. His favorites are Harry Potter and The Hunger Games.
