Malcolm X was an influential black leader, social activist, and minister who championed black pride. He was commonly painted as a brutal leader who preached violence, scholars from Aljazeera claim he was just a “Secular Prophet.” His quote, “By any means necessary, “stood for his defiant stance on self-defense against white aggression. He transformed his origins into a symbol of pride, urging African Americans to embrace their identity and ignore White standards. His autobiography and ideas became foundational texts for the Black Power Movement. Malcolm X was a revolutionary black icon who instilled pride, and gave millions of African Americans a strong sense of racial pride and dignity. He commanded respect for his people and confronted systematic racism.
