My name is Abigail Pena and I’m a first year journalism student. I used to live in Laredo, TX ,and moved here in August. It’s my first major move, and so far, I’m enjoying it, although I miss living in my hometown with all my friends. I enjoy taking pictures for the yearbook and writing, which is why I joined journalism class.​

My favorite class is orchestra and I’m a first chair violinist. I’ve been playing since 7th grade and have competed in UIL and state competitions. I want to major in something that lets me express my creativity such as: interior design, graphic design, or animation. 

My hobbies are drawing, playing video games, listening to music, decorating my room, playing piano and violin, and journaling.​ My all-time favorite show is Squid Game, and my favorite character is Thanos.
